Mr. Yahya Ibrahim Abdulrahman is the Chief Information Officer for Saudi Electricity Company overseeing one of the largest IT and Communications sectors in the region delivering services to over 8.2 million customers and 33,000 employees across the entire Kingdom. Mr. Yahya brings over 30 years of leadership in IT and has started his career with SABIC which is one of the leading Saudi companies globally and regionally.

Mr. Yahya oversees a team of over 600 IT professionals and works closely with SEC leadership on achieving their goals and objectives through the implementation of state of the art technology solutions. Mr. Yahya is currently spearheading SEC IT transformation initiative to bring SEC one step closer to becoming a world class utility and providing its customers with full digital experience.

In addition to his role as CIO and IT transformation leader, Mr. Yahya is also the head of the Cyber Security committee responsible for protecting SEC assets to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply to the Kingdom. Mr. Yahya has recently launched SEC Cyber Security Strategy and Roadmap covering people, process, technology. Mr. Yahya recent achievements include the attainment of ISO 27K certification in addition to the launch and implementation of sophisticated Cyber and IT security solutions and awareness campaigns.

Mr. Yahya holds a Computer Science degree from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals and has attended a number of leadership programs in Insead, Said Business Schools, and others. Mr. Yahya has also been a panelist and a speaker in National and Regional summits and symposiums including IDC, Gartner, HP, and others.
