The International C4I Solutions Conference to be held at King Saud University on Oct. 17-19 announced today that for the second consecutive year, Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) will be the conference’s strategic partner.
This year’s conference theme, “Alliance Against Terrorism, Strategies and Capabilities,” will discuss the latest developments in command, control, communications, computers and intelligence (C4I) including integration of command and control systems of the armed forces, their proactive capabilities to monitor and respond to terrorist operations, and the importance of strengthening international alliances. It will also cover technology transfer and localizing specialized expertise in command and control systems in line with Vision 2030.

The Chairman of the Committee of the C4I Solutions conference, Dr. Abdullah Al-Ghamdi, welcomed the continued support of Northrop Grumman and noted the importance of such initiatives in enhancing cooperation between international and local technical partners.
The International Conference on C4I Solutions is one of the main joint initiatives between the Saudi Ministry of Defense and King Saud University, and is held for the second consecutive year in the Saudi capital Riyadh.
The conference will be preceded by CyberArabia, an annual cybersecurity competition for Saudi university students, Oct. 11-12. CyberArabia is part of a global initiative supported by Northrop Grumman aimed at igniting an interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics. Other features of the conference include as an exhibition center for participating companies, specialized training courses and meetings between international experts and relevant national authorities, and a forum for game and application developers.
The first International Conference on C4I Solutions attracted more than 800 participants from various branches of the Saudi armed forces and other security forces, as well as representatives of international companies specialized in the fields of command and control and other defense and electronic fields, including cybersecurity.
